THE CHRISTIAN LIFE
We believe that those who have personally received Christ as Savior are called with a holy calling to walk not after the sinful nature, but after the righteousness of the Spirit of God within them. While believers are declared righteous and set apart before God at the point of faith, it should be the Christian’s desire to personally grow in his faith as well. Having the mind of Christ, the believer should pursue God above all else, and demonstrate God’s love toward their fellow man. This should result in a life that is separate from sin and set apart to God, growing in faith and obedience to the Word and Holy Spirit. Christians use their God-given gifts for the purpose of edifying the church, doing the work of the ministry, and obeying our Lord’s command to make disciples.
