HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that the Holy Spirt, a divine person, is God; co-equal with God the Father and God the Son. That He was active in creation and in guiding the human writers of the Holy Scriptures, so that they are the very words of God. We believe that the Holy Spirit is active today, convicting of sin, righteousness, and judgement. The Holy Spirit regenerates sinners and places them into the body of Christ, permanently indwelling and sealing the believer; comforting, illuminating, guiding, equipping, and empowering believers for Christ-like living and service. The Holy Spirit gives believers various gifts to enable the church to fulfill Christ’s commission, to edify the church.
